About the role





We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Coordinator to join our dynamic business development team. This role is pivotal in supporting the end-to-end bid process, while also providing operational support to the wider sales, marketing, and BD leadership team.




Responsibilities



Bid and Proposal Support:



Support the bid process from initial opportunity through to submission. Collaborate with bid manager, bid writers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to gather content and input. Maintain and update bid libraries, templates, and standard responses. Ensure compliance with client specifications and tender requirements. Format and proofread bid documents to ensure consistency and professionalism. Track bid progress and deadlines using appropriate tools and systems. Support post-submission activities including feedback analysis and lessons learned.

Sales & Marketing Support:




Coordinate client engagements and stakeholder activities such as tracking meetings and actions. Prepare presentations to support leadership reviews Assist with internal reporting and maintenance of BD dashboards Support lead generation with market research and competitor analysis Liaise with marketing to support the coordination of events and help draft content for the CL social media channel Perform other related duties as required.

Health and Safety




Demonstrate in daily activities a commitment to health and safety in the workplace by always ensuring tasks are performed in the safest possible manner Report all hazards and incidents that the individual is party to, or observes, in the correct manner. When required or directed, participate in any health and safety training.




Perform other business development related duties as required.

Skills




Essential




Previous experience in a bid coordination or similar administrative role. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). To be competent in the use of Microsoft Project and have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.



Desirable




Experience with public sector or international bids. Familiarity with procurement portals and bid management software.



Personal Attributes



Must be a British Citizen or have an existing right to work in the UK Ability to hold Security Clearance - 5 years residence in the UK Due to the location of our office a driving license and own transport is required.
