To support this growth, the company is recruiting a Business Development Executive to drive sales and build lasting client relationships in the cross-border region.

Role Overview



The Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in achieving Rock's sales objectives by building and managing a pipeline of clients across key market segments. The successful candidate will be based at Rock's HQ, with travel to prospects and clients as required, ensuring a proactive and customer-focused approach.

While prior experience in interiors, lighting, or luxury goods is desirable, it is not essential. We are seeking a motivated individual with strong sales acumen and the ability to establish meaningful B2B relationships, particularly with interior designers, hotels, and retail stores.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to represent a premium design-led brand and directly contribute to the company's growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities



Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities in the Republic of Ireland and cross-border markets. Build and maintain strong B2B relationships with interior designers, hospitality businesses, and retail outlets. Present Rock's unique value proposition and exclusive product collections to prospective clients. Develop and manage a structured sales pipeline, achieving and exceeding agreed sales targets. Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, PDFs, and corporate literature to secure new accounts. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the Rock and KatieBleu brands. Collaborate with the design and operations team to ensure seamless project delivery. Provide regular reporting on sales activities, pipeline development, and market insights.

Candidate Profile



Proven track record in business development or sales, ideally within interiors, furniture, lighting, or luxury goods (desirable but not essential). Strong ability to generate leads and convert them into long-term client accounts. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Competent in producing professional sales collateral, including PDFs, corporate literature, and client proposals. Highly motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently. Knowledge of the Irish interiors, hospitality, or design market would be a strong advantage. Full driving license and willingness to travel across Ireland as required.
