Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Business Development Executive who is already active in the UK transport, courier, and haulage industry, with existing relationships and direct access to decision-makers (CEOs, Logistics Managers, Procurement Heads, Transport Managers). Your primary focus will be to leverage your network to secure contracts for Baaz Sameday Ltd.
Key Responsibilities:
Use your existing network to directly approach decision-makers in companies needing transport, courier, and haulage services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business.
Secure high-value contracts for same-day, next-day, and international transport services.
Represent Baaz Sameday Ltd at industry events and networking opportunities.
Maintain a sales pipeline of potential clients, tracking all interactions and outcomes.
Regularly report sales performance, challenges, and market insights to senior management.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Proven Network: Existing, active connections with decision-makers in logistics, retail, manufacturing, distribution, and other sectors that require transport and courier services.
Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of the UK transport, courier, and haulage sector.
Sales Excellence: Proven track record of securing high-value contracts.
Excellent Communication: Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Background:
Active sales or business development role in a UK logistics, courier, haulage, or transport company.
Existing client portfolio or active relationships that can be converted into contracts.
Experience dealing with companies in sectors such as retail, manufacturing, distribution, e-commerce, and logistics.
