Navson, a progressive, energised and successful FMCG organisation, are looking for a Business Development Executive to identify new business opportunities and manage a limited number of existing accounts within an assigned territory.

The Role



Generate New Business. Manage Potential Accounts ongoing. Working closely with the Sales Controller to deliver a key part of the sales strategy. Implementing - where relevant - national business plans. Be the first line of commercial contact for new business. Liaising with other departments to resolve issues and maximise opportunities Negotiation: Skilfully negotiate pricing, promotions, and terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements with customers. Office based unless at prospect or customer sites.

Performance Measurements:



Achieve monthly sales targets and KPI's. Deliver against distribution, volume, and other commercial metrics. Deliver product distribution growth. Implementation & execution of National Promotional Activity. Ensuring an effective journey call plan is developed to meet business and customer needs.

The candidate:



A sales expert with a proactive approach to business growth. FMCG experience advantageous although not essential. Strong numerical ability and skilled at building client relationships. Business development or sales experience advantageous. Ability to work under pressure and self-motivated. Target driven with good negotiation and presentation skills. Show strong organisational and time management skills. Establish rapport and build relations across all levels. Midlands based.

Remuneration:



Basic salary 30,000 to 35,000 subject to experience. OTE to 42,000 uncapped. Car / Allowance Laptop and phone. Contributory pension scheme. A positive and professional culture.
