Business Development Executive - Construction & Retrofit

: North West (Hybrid / Field-Based)

Salary

: Up to 45,000 per year

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Business Development professional to join a growing training organisation focused on construction, retrofit, and low carbon skills. If you enjoy being out on-site, meeting employers, and shaping workforce development solutions, this role offers the chance to make a genuine impact across the sector.

About the Role

Engage directly with construction employers, site managers, and industry partners Promote NVQs, apprenticeships, retrofit training, and CITB-funded routes Carry out Training Needs Analyses and workforce planning discussions Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities Provide insights on sector trends and skills priorities Work closely with delivery and marketing teams to ensure smooth onboarding

What We're Looking For

Proven business development or employer engagement experience in construction Confident engaging employers on-site and building strong commercial relationships Good understanding of CITB, NVQs, or construction workforce development Strong communication and consultative sales skills Motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently

Requirements

Full UK driving licence Knowledge of construction qualifications (NVQs, apprenticeships) is desirable Experience in retrofit or low carbon is an advantage
