As a Business Development Executive here at Gateshead you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong and lasting relationships with new and existing Customers and achieving sales growth for the Customer based in your defined territory.

Responsibilities
Develop and build strong relationships with all Customers, including regular face to face visits
Retaining a full knowledge base of all of our stock, parts, accessories and pricing strategies
Utilising product presentations in order to effectively demonstrate our parts / accessories to potential customers
Attend weekly 1 to 1's with your Centre Manager
Maintain accurate Customer records using our App
Provide the highest level of Customer service
Identify new opportunities with your territory, and maximise results and sales opportunities through advanced preparation and planning
Key Skills Required
You'll be a real go-getter with heaps of industry knowledge and demonstrable sales experience. We need someone who has automotive product expertise as well as a good technical understanding of automotive maintenance. Previous experience working in an Automotive Parts department is desirable.
You must be a natural and confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner, and be adept at negotiating, persuading, and influencing key stakeholders both in person and via the phone. You will be commercially astute, and a real results-driven individual. You must be able to demonstrate confidence in using your own initiative and planning your own diary. Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to have a full UK driving licence.
