Key Responsibilities
Reach out to all inactive brokers via Phone, Email, Linkedin. To educate them on propositions and get them set up on the Borker Portal to start submitting leads.
This person will only be responsible for outreach, any deals submitted are then picked up and worked by the BDMs
Re-engage with inactive Brokers via Marketing, eg
+ - Sharing success stories from similar brokers
Stats on turnaround times, examples of deals, commission earned etc
Broker-only insights: Share data like top industries were approving this month or biggest reasons deals are declined.
Bonus/Promos
Ongoing training/education: Short webinars or videos on product updates, best-fit borrower profiles, and underwriting guidelines.
Handle Live Chat queries from our site to discuss deals/ educate
Build a Consistent Relationships
Regular check-ins: Monthly calls
Birthday/anniversary recognition: Simple, personal touches go a long way in reinforcing loyalty.
Show Appreciation eg Thank-you gifts after major milestones (first deal, 10th deal, etc.)
Surprise & delight gestures: Not tied to performance just unexpected appreciation
Experience:
2+ years experience of business development/ sales ideally within the industry
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
Graduate level qualification
Full Driving license

Excellent communication
A natural flair for developing business relationships
Ability to think outside the box and suggest changes to processes / sales tactics in order to improve efficiency and impact

Ability to close deals and bring discussions/negotiations to a conclusion
