ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Business Development Executive at Mabo, you will play a vital role in generating new business opportunities and expanding our client base. The primary focus will be on lead generation through outreach, utilising effective sales strategies and techniques to drive growth and revenue for the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
New Business Development
Identify and engage with decision-makers at high-potential UK-based brands through a mix of cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
Assess lead quality based on predefined criteria, such as company size, industry, and digital marketing needs
Conduct discovery calls with interested prospects to understand their challenges, objectives, and budget
Identify and prioritise high-potential opportunities that align with our agency's strengths and offerings
Schedule meetings between qualified leads and Digital Growth Strategists to facilitate in-depth discussions and needs assessments
Provide comprehensive briefing notes to strategists, outlining key information about the prospect, their needs, and any relevant context
Collaborate with Digital Growth Strategists to develop customised proposals for qualified leads
Be an integral part of our lead nurture strategy and work closely with the strategists to drive high-quality meetings
Performance Tracking and Reporting
Log your activity accurately in our CRM (HubSpot), ensuring companies and contacts are up-to-date, correctly segmented and data is accurate, and relevant comms are logged appropriately
Continuously monitor and optimise your outreach efforts, identifying opportunities and adjusting your approach to hit KPIs
Work with our marketing team to develop relevant and engaging content to support your outbound activity
Report back to the wider team weekly on your progress, successes and any challenges you are facing
Collaborate with peers and manager to continuously refine and improve processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness
SKILLS
Experience in lead generation or a similar role in sales, preferably within an agency
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Attention to detail for accurate note taking and record keeping
Determined, driven and willing to learn
Team player and positive attitude
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS
Basic salary 26-28k with OTE 12-15k
