This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in supporting the growth of our business by joining our successful sales team.
Your role in the business will be to engage our target market in a discussion about using our market leading products and solutions. There will be lots of training and support from experienced colleagues and our uncapped commission plan will reward your appetite to learn and apply, putting you in control of your earning potential.
The role is home-based with occasional trips to our London headquarters for training, team meetings and regular celebrations. For the right candidate, this is a great opportunity to start your SaaS sales career, where previous successful performers have progressed into more senior roles within the business.
Overview
What is most important in this role:
Introducing new business sales opportunities covering the current and future Aptem product and service portfolio
Performing against clearly defined key performance indicators
Account research and planning and the ability to build a relevant sales strategy for assigned accounts
Qualifying sales leads in line with ideal customer profile, principally by telephone, e-mail and social media
Leading sales calls following a consultative sales approach
What you can expect in your first two months at Aptem:
During your first week, following completion of full training, you will begin making calls to prospective customers
In your first month, the focus will be on achieving your ramp-up target, which is set at 50% of the normal target
By the second month, you will be expected to deliver against your full target and earn your full commission value

Prospect into assigned accounts
Achieve performance against clearly defined key performance indicators
Achieve qualified meeting bookings target per calendar month
Focus on quality
Develop market sector knowledge and keep current on industry issues and initiatives that can be drawn on to engage and position Aptem products and services
Qualify sales leads in line with ideal customer profile, principally by telephone, email and social media
Plan own activity to ensure all leads are explored and followed up
Lead sales calls following a consultative sales process
Administration
Log all calls/meetings/contacts and email activity into our CRM system and actively manage the customer database to ensure information is kept up to date to enable accurate reporting, forecasting and targeted marketing activity to generate new business
Collate accurate information on prospective customers and add on to our CRM system to enable future follow up
Identify past prospects for follow up calls and meetings. Re-establish contact to sustain interest in Aptem Ltd products/services
