We are seeking an ambitious and energetic Sales & Business Development Executive to join our growing team and help us expand our security, fire and electrical systems presence across the south east.
Job Brief
This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven sales professional with industry experience and strong contacts within the various markets. You will be responsible for self-generating new installation and maintenance sales, developing new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and delivering tailored security, life safety and electrical solutions, in line with industry best practice.
Duties can change from time to time subject to client's requirements and change to the marketplace. All employees are to work in accordance with the company guidelines and KPI's.

Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm with a 30minute unpaid break for lunch
Salary:
50,000 OTE (based on achieving sales target)
Basic Salary - 40,000.00 - 45,000.00 (depending on experience)
You will receive 22 days of paid holiday plus all UK statutory Bank Holidays, which increases with time served. You will also be auto-enrolled onto the workplace pension scheme after 3-months, you can opt-out should you choose.

Responsibilities & Duties
Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities
Build and maintain new customer relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
Attend client networking events
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet agreed targets
Prepare and deliver tailored quotes, design specifications, tender proposals and presentations to prospective clients
Collaborate with the sales, technical, project, and service teams to ensure smooth solution delivery
Deliver accurate forecasts for orders and growth opportunities
Stay informed about market trends, technology developments, and competitor activity
Maintain accurate CRM database records for forecasting and reporting
Essential Experience and Skills Required
4-5 years of B2B sales experience in the electronic security and fire systems industry
Solid understanding of Fire, Life Safety and Electronic Security systems (Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, etc.) in order to consult, design and quote for requirements.
Knowledge of fire and security systems standards and regulations (e.g., PD6662, BS5839, BS5266, NSI & BAFE best practice)
Awareness of Building Regulations and Health & Safety requirements
Existing network of contacts within the target sectors
Proven ability to generate and convert new business opportunities
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Commercial awareness with a proactive, target-driven approach
Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Fluent in the English language, both spoken and written, as well as being literate and numerate.
Excellent customer service skills.
Have the ability to correspond clearly, concisely, and politely with administrators, technicians, customers, and external organisations, whether by telephone or written communication. Be fully conversant with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook and be able to use them in accordance with the company standards.
Have the skills to be multi-faceted and the ability to carry out numerous duties across various departments.
Be confident and efficient in managing own time whilst carrying out a multitude of tasks.
