Key Responsibilities as the Business Development Executive:
Win new business across retail and trade customer segments as a dedicated Business Development Executive.
Develop and deliver strategic plans to grow market share within the bathroom sector.
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, ensuring leads are converted effectively.
Consistently hit and exceed sales targets.
Carry out site visits and consultations with new and existing customers.
Provide expert bathroom product advice and create tailored solutions.
Re-engage lapsed accounts and proactively source new business opportunities.
Collaborate with showroom, trade, sales, and supplier teams to deliver a seamless customer journey.
Share insights and feedback to help improve products and services.
Oversee multiple projects, including quotes, follow-ups, and order tracking.
Keep accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity.
Requirements for the Business Development Executive:
Proven bathroom showroom sales experience with solid product knowledge -- bathroom specialisation is essential, kitchen experience would be an added advantage.
Demonstrated success in business development and achieving sales targets.
Confident conducting site visits and customer consultations.
Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-driven approach.
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-motivated and commercially focused.
Desirable:
Experience working with both retail and trade customers in a business development role.
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
Up-to-date knowledge of bathroom design trends and product innovations.
Full UK Driving Licence.
3-5 years' experience in a similar Business Development Executive role.
Knowledge of industry-specific software.
Kitchens experience - highly desirable.
