About Us


RightScapes is an expanding landscaping company based in Yeadon, Leeds. At RightScapes, we specialise in domestic landscaping construction and design. As part of our continued growth, we are now looking to recruit an experienced and driven Business Development Specialist to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in sales and client relationship management, who is passionate about driving business growth and delivering a positive, professional experience for every client.
We're looking for a candidate who brings not just experience, but also energy, charisma, and the confidence to make a lasting impression.


As a Business Development Specialist at RightScapes, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients and suppliers, and driving revenue growth. You will collaborate closely with management and the company director to align our services with market needs and help RightScapes expand its presence in the Leeds area and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:



Proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within residential and commercial landscaping markets Developing and executing strategies to drive sustainable business growth and increase market share Building and nurturing long-term relationships with prospective clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders to support company expansion Leading sales initiatives, including preparing and delivering tailored proposals and presentations to secure new contracts Collaborating closely with the management, company director, and design/construction teams to align growth objectives with operational capabilities Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and potential areas for business development Representing RightScapes at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to raise brand awareness and generate leads Managing the sales pipeline effectively, tracking progress, and reporting on key performance indicators related to business growth Providing actionable feedback to refine service offerings and enhance client satisfaction, driving repeat business and referrals Identifying partnership and collaboration opportunities that support long-term strategic growth

Essential Skills & Experience:



Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within the landscaping, construction, or design industry Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first approach Charismatic, energetic, and confident communicator, with the ability to engage and inspire clients and stakeholders Highly self-driven with strong initiative and the ability to manage and prioritise workload independently Excellent organisational and time-management abilities Familiarity with CRM software and digital sales tools Understanding of landscape construction/design services is highly desirable

Qualifications:



Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred) UK Driver's License (Essential)

Job Type:

Full-time with flexible working options

Pay:

32,500-37,500.

Schedule:



Monday to Friday Core business hours with flexibility to support work-life balance

Work Location:

Primarily office-based in Leeds LS19 7XS with regular visits to project sites as required
