About the Role



International Cargo Logistics Ltd (ICL) is seeking a dynamic and results-driven

Business Development Manager

to join our Manchester Sales Team. You will play a vital role in expanding our footprint across the North, focusing on

developing new business opportunities across air, road, and sea freight

, while building and managing a robust portfolio of clients to support the long-term success of our Manchester branch.

This hybrid role offers the autonomy to shape your territory with the backing of a supportive leadership team and a strong UK-wide presence.

Key Responsibilities



Identify and convert new business opportunities across air, road, and sea freight services. Build and maintain a portfolio of clients, ensuring long-term growth and customer satisfaction. Develop tailored freight solutions to meet the specific needs of each customer. Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless onboarding, particularly for

customers with large-volume shipments

. Provide regular reporting on pipeline activity, sales performance, and market trends. Actively contribute to the strategic growth of the Manchester branch.

What We're Looking For



Minimum

3 years' experience

in a

business development, account management, or sales

role within the

freight forwarding or logistics industry

. Proven experience

onboarding high-volume customers

and managing complex freight requirements. Deep knowledge of

air, road, and sea freight services

. A self-starter who thrives on winning new business and delivering customer-focused solutions. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-50,000.00 per year
