Sales and Marketing Role (X-Met Met Metals)

Overview

X-Met Metals are looking for an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join our expanding team. The role will mainly include identifying new business opportunities and building up customer relationships within the market. As part of the role, you will be required to increase the company's customer base, and increase the company's online presence and improve/ increase our social media platforms to explain the range of services we offer, and entice potential customer to engage with the business.

We are looking for somebody who can create new leads, and business opportunities and build a good working relationship / partnership moving forward.

X-Met Metals unique selling point is we bring our services to you, we have mobile scales installed in all our vehicles delivering the scrap yard to the customers door 7 days a week, with no hidden charges for this service.

Key skills / Requirements of the job role

Be over 25 for insurance reasons

Have a full clean UK driving licence

Experience in working with all Microsoft office products

Good phone knowledge such as apps, WhatsApp, LinkedIn

Experience in social media marketing and demonstrate examples

Have experience of sales and be able to demonstrate examples

Have experience in business development and demonstrate examples

Be Flexible with working hours

Be prepared to travel and stay over if needed

Have excellent customer service skills

Be creative

Have experience in Marketing and be able to demonstrate examples

Salary and Benefits

Basic pay 26,000

Commission with regards to new business opportunities (discussed at interview)

Working hours Monday to Friday 8-4.30pm

Office based at Skelmersdale Yard

Company Vehicle and fuel card (or can use own vehicle) to be agreed at interview

23 days holiday plus bank holidays

As this is a new role the job will be on a probation period of 6-month period to make sure the role is cost effective. General weekly meetings with the director will be held to enable you to update on new leads and workloads etc.
