We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, generating leads and assisting the Managing Director with the operation of the business.
The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of sales and marketing and have the ability to develop strategic sales plans.
The business focuses on the supply of plant hire to the the North Yorkshire area along with the supply of quarried and recycled aggregates.
Product is not essential as training can be provided.
Duties
Conduct market research to identify potential clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients to foster long-term partnerships.
Monitor industry developments and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
Assist in the development of business systems and processes to effectively deliver sales targets.
Assist in the operation and management of the business
Skills
Proven experience in business development or sales
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with a varied workload
