Oversee and grow event operations, marketing, community engagement and social media for Goole Market Hall.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and guest services, with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring an outstanding experience for all participants.
Seeking and maintaining relationships with local businesses and community groups, and any relevant news or media outlets, networking and liaising to ensure community needs are being met
Community events - ensure a number of community events are performed each year, collaborating with Bar Operations Manager/Director, General Manager and marketing team to develop community engagement
Event management - Plan and oversee events, ensuring everything runs smoothly from initial inquiry to execution.
Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their event visions are brought to life and expectations exceeded.
Research and liaise with the venue General Manager and event partners regarding requirements, stock delivery, set build and other related information
Manage equipment and stock for events, ordering of additional stock, equipment and POS, organising equipment hire and additional resources as needed
Develop and manage event run sheets, rotas and checklists, and complete post-event evaluations, checking all equipment ensuring any repairs or replacements are actioned without delay
Maintain central event reporting data, including contact and stand info, numbers attending event, sales figures from our attendance etc
Liaise with the General Manager to co-ordinate staffing requirements and any training needed, creating training information or materials if necessary
Monitor event performance, hitting revenue targets while identifying new opportunities for growth
Work with sales and marketing teams for event promotion and smooth event execution
Flexible and weekend availability - present for large bookings & events running operations, hosting and gathering social media content
Communicate with all parts of the business effectively
Responsible for overseeing the venue social media channels for events, content creation and dealing with direct message requests, assisted by the General and Assistant Managers
Work with the marketing team to promote event packages, seasonal opportunities, and the unique venue to attract new audiences
Engage in service/general site management in quieter gaps between event periods
Managing venue bookings and relaying upcoming events to the General Manager

Hands-on and hard-working, with a flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends for events.
Knowledge of or passion for craft beer is a bonus!
