About the Role
As a Business Development Manager at Swoop, you will drive revenue by building and scaling B2B partnerships across equipment vendors, software vendors, Value Added Resellers (VARs), and accountants.
Your core mission: generate high-quality financing leads into Swoop through active, engaged partners.
This is a fast-paced, sales-led role focused on winning new partners, activating their sales teams, and creating a strong, consistent flow of SME finance opportunities.
You will:
Build and expand partnerships.
Drive revenue by ensuring partners regularly refer SMEs needing software or technology finance.
Position Swoop as the preferred SaaS-enabled finance platform within partner channels.
Deliver compelling pitches, demos, and training to partner sales teams.
Test new commercial approaches to reach SMEs seeking equipment and tech finance.
Generate a strong, predictable pipeline of partner-led financing leads.
Represent Swoop confidently across external meetings and events.
Main KPI:
Volume and quality of financing leads generated from partner channels.
About You
2+ years in Business Development or outbound sales with proven results.
Experience with SaaS, VAR/value added reseller channels, accountants, or vendor partnerships.
Strong communication, pitching, and negotiation skills.
Commercially driven, proactive, and target-oriented.
Organised, resilient, and comfortable owning a number.
Knowledge of SME lending or tech finance (or readiness to learn).
Full driving licence.
