Rare opportunity for an experienced Telecoms BDM to carve your career within a rapidly expanding organisation. Our client is part of a global networking group. Based in the UK, this subsidiary, enables digital transformation by providing network, data centre, cloud and cyber security, connectivity services, managed services and digital solutions to organisations globally.



They now seek accomplished sales professionals to perform a full business development role, focussing in selling throughout the UK and Europe.

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this is a chance for you to demonstrate your all-round commercial acumen as you will be responsible for developing a practically greenfield patch targeting both passive and active services. Ideally you have already accumulated contacts and experience of successfully selling one or more of the following:

Data Centre Services

Telecoms Infrastructure deployment (copper, fibre)

Networking Solutions (connectivity cloud, security)

Electricity or other Utilities


This SME company is made up predominantly by in-house engineers, supported by a strong UK based operations management team. You will achieve success through your ability to deliver the full cycle from market analysis, strategy development, lead generation and sales, producing and delivering proposals and presentations through to collaborating in cross-functional projects and ensuring compliance and best practices in all business development activities.

This can be a fully remote role, though hybrid will be necessary whilst you get up to speed and collaborate with colleagues. They have offices in the midlands and northern England. Required experience and attributes:

At least 5 years successful experience selling similar Telecoms services to enterprises, telcos, cloud service providers, or the public sector.

Self-reliant, able to manage multiple priorities and take ownership for your projects

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively through your existing contacts or cold calling

Proactive and self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed.

Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.

Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.


Our client requires two Telecoms BDMs and a Utilities BDM to join them now on a

basic salary range of 60,000 to 85,000 depending on experience plus uncapped commission on a 60/40 split per year
