are a well-established Freight Forwarding and Distribution company. We are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to support our ambitious growth plans on the south coast.

About the company

Monex are based in Southampton, Newport (HQ), Droitwich and Blackpool with modern storage facilities, our own HGV fleet, and are proud members of a leading pallet network. Our international team provides full-service logistics, Road, Sea and Air and our UK team operate a large fleet of Modern HGV's including Hiabs and Low loaders.

Your Role

As the

Business Development Manager

, you'll play a key role in expanding the client base and revenue by:

Generating and developing new business opportunities across the South of the UK and beyond. Promoting the multi-model freight forwarding services (Air, Sea, and European Road). Managing your own pipeline, diary, and appointments to build strong relationships with clients. Collaborating closely with the operations team to create tailored solutions for customers. Identifying further growth opportunities within existing key accounts.

What We're Looking For

? Proven experience in B2B sales within international freight forwarding and logistics.
? A well-connected, confident self-starter with a strong commercial mindset.
? Skilled in the full sales cycle - from lead generation to close.
? A motivated, customer-focused professional with excellent communication and presentation skills.
? Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
? Full UK driving licence is essential.
