Bissell Display Ltd is a growing UK-based manufacturer specialising in the design and production of high-quality display and signage solutions, including timetable cases, notice boards, and custom-built information displays. We work closely with clients across the public and private sectors to deliver tailored products with a focus on durability, precision, and design.

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven salesperson to develop and grow sales of Bissell Display products. The successful candidate will manage customer relationships, generate new business opportunities, and support clients through the full sales process from enquiry to order. This is a key role within the company, working closely with the office, warehouse, and production teams, and reporting directly to the Operations Director.

This is a full-time role, working 8.30am - 5pm Monday-Thursday and 8.30am - 2pm Friday; and is an office-based role in our modern, friendly working environment, with some external customer visits regularly required.

Duties and responsibilities


Act as the main point of contact for sales enquiries, providing professional advice and product information.
Prepare and issue accurate quotations in a timely manner and follow up to convert enquiries into orders.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities across public and private sector clients.
Liaise with the office, warehouse, and production teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated and delivered.
Monitor sales pipelines, customer activity, and order progress to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Attend customer meetings, site visits, or industry events where required.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, and sales activity within company systems.

Experience and skills


Proven experience in a sales or business development role.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Previous experience of estimating/quoting.
Ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and general office systems.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities.
Knowledge of manufacturing, signage, or display industries is an advantage (but not essential).
Full UK Driving License.

Salary and Benefits


Package 32,000 - 42,000+ depending on performance and targets.

37.5 Hours Monday-Friday (including 2pm finish on a Friday).
