The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Business Development Manager
to strategize and expand our market presence and drive sales globally. Ideally, they will speak a second language to support our global operations. This role is perfect for a motivated individual with a passion for building strong client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and the team.
Generate leads, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals.
Support production with sales forecasts from the UK sales team, distributors and agents.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform business strategies.
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events in the UK and internationally.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Working closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns for the year, setting out KPI targets for the team to maximise the campaigns
Motivate the sales team to hit sales and KPI targets
Develop new growth opportunities, and products that can be added to the portfolio of goods and services Addfield offer.
Requirements
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to negotiate high-value contracts.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel internationally.
A second language (such as French, Spanish, Arabic, or German) is highly desirable.
Experience in the waste management, engineering, or manufacturing sector is a plus.
