Who we are: D2 was established in 2017, with a primary focus on providing high quality properties to potentially vulnerable adults, families and young people. We currently support circa 20 Local Authorities across the UK with their Temporary Accommodation needs and are looking to grow our delivery and reach even further. We are proud to say that we offer Local Authorities a safe and homely alternative to the use of expensive, impersonal and impractical B&Bs. The role: To cultivate and steward strategic partnerships/relationships, both existing and emerging, that drive sustainable growth and reflect D2's values and long-term vision. Designing and maintaining systems for tracking partnerships and outcomes and leading on bid development to secure aligned opportunities for growth and impact.
You'll be responsible for:
Driving strategic growth and partnerships
Manage existing relationships alongside the CEO
Identify and nurture new business opportunities
Build partnerships that reflect and align with D2's values and long-term vision
Manage tender portals and bid writing
Develop systems for tracking leads, partnerships, and outcomes using digital tools You'll thrive here if you:
Experience in business development and strategic partnerships
Experience of working within a Local Authority (preferably within a housing team) or Housing Association
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate demographic and impact data into compelling narratives for bids and partnerships
Familiarity with trauma-informed practice, safeguarding, & inclusive governance
Comfortable working with digital systems
Work well as part of a busy team, and are collaborative in nature
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shaping systems that evolve with need
