Pisani is a leading supplier of high-quality natural stone, quartz, porcelain, and engineered surfaces. With a strong reputation for excellence and customer care, we supply premium materials to the KBB sector, architects, and designers nationwide. We are now seeking a driven and knowledgeable Business Development Manager to join our team in Matlock, Derby and help shape the next chapter of our growth.

The Role



This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and customer-focused professional to take a key role in driving new business, nurturing client relationships, and expanding our presence in the stone and surface materials market.

Key Responsibilities:



Build, maintain, and grow strong customer relationships, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction. Identify and develop new business opportunities, exploring routes to market across our product range. Actively seek and secure new trade through a mix of office-based work and customer visits. Prepare accurate quotations and job estimates from scale drawings and project parameters. Confidently interpret kitchen plans, architectural drawings, and scale drawings to support client projects. Provide expert product advice and technical support on natural stone, quartz, porcelain, and other engineered materials. Contribute to overall sales strategy through market analysis, competitor awareness, and pricing control.

About You



We're looking for a motivated, technically minded business developer with a passion for customer service and a proven track record in the stone or KBB industry.

Skills & Experience Required:



Minimum 4 years' experience in customer relationship management (CRM). Proven background in the stone or KBB sector (essential). Strong customer service skills and the ability to build long-term client partnerships. Proficiency in Microsoft-based systems. Familiarity with Xero accounting software (advantageous). Solid understanding of market control, pricing strategy, and routes to market. Ability to interpret and work confidently from technical drawings and plans. Experience producing quotations and estimates from architectural or kitchen plans. Knowledge of natural stone and engineered materials (quartz, porcelain, etc.). A technical understanding of cutting, working, and manufacturing processes (advantageous).
