We are looking for an ambitiousBusiness Development Manager to help grow our
electrical
construction business across Scotland. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and supporting the preparation of tenders and bids to secure projects. Working closely with senior management and estimators, you will play a key role in driving the company's growth and reputation within the sector.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within electrical construction.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants.
Develop and deliver presentations, proposals, and bid documents.
Collaborate with the estimating team to prepare competitive tenders and quotations.
Track industry trends, competitor activity, and upcoming project opportunities.
Attend industry networking events and represent the company professionally.
Support the development of long-term growth strategies and business plans.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in business development or sales within the electrical construction industry.
Strong network of contacts within the sector.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage the full business development cycle, from lead generation to contract award.
Commercially aware with a results-driven mindset.
Full UK driving licence.
