Job Title: Business Development Manager Reports to: Head of Growth

Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join Premier Education's Growth Team, reporting directly to the Head of Growth. This is a pivotal role focused on driving new business, retaining key accounts, and increasing average customer spend across schools and community settings. As both a strategic planner and relationship builder, the BDM will be the lead point of contact for current and prospective school partners, ensuring excellent customer experience and acting as the bridge between sales, marketing, and operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment, with a passion for education, sport, and community impact.

Core Objective To deliver a world-class customer experience while meeting growth targets through new business acquisition, client retention, and enhanced customer value.

Key Responsibilities ? ? Sales & Growth o Achieve monthly and annual sales targets across schools, parent-funded courses, and community programmes. o Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with the company's 90 day tactical plans and annual growth targets (e.g., +1 WAC setting, +1 delivery day, +1 child per course). o Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities in schools, clubs, and local authorities. o Maintain and manage a robust sales funnel through HubSpot including accurate forecasting and reporting. o Attend school meetings, pitch new services, and secure bookings in line with performance objectives. o Support the delivery of engagement campaigns and lead generation initiatives.

? ? Client Relationship Management o Lead the customer journey using Premier Education's CARE process and deliver termly client reviews. o Act as the primary point of contact for all inbound school communications, providing fast and effective triage. o Build and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with existing school customers to drive retention and increase average spend. o Resolve client issues quickly and professionally, maintaining the highest standard of customer satisfaction. o Ensure internal departments (Finance, Operations, Delivery) receive accurate and timely handover details.

? ? Community Engagement & Outreach o Represent Premier Education at school fairs, networking events, and community forums. o Plan and support community initiatives such as taster sessions, open days, and holiday camps. o Assist in developing partnerships through grant applications, sponsorships, and corporate social responsibility programmes.

? ? Marketing & Promotions o Collaborate with the marketing team to execute localised campaigns that drive visibility and enrolment. o Use social media, school communications, and local channels to promote programmes and events. o Report on campaign performance, including lead conversion rates, reach, and engagement metrics.

? ? Reporting & Risk o Use internal systems (e.g. BMS/HubSpot to record KPIs, update client records, and generate sales reports. o Contribute to the Risk Register by identifying, reporting, and supporting mitigation strategies for business risks. o Provide timely updates and reports to the Head of Growth and contribute to the weekly LION document. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) o +1 WAC setting (supporting new settings in each territory) o +1 child per parent-funded course o +1 additional booking per customer o +1 additional delivery day per school o Weekly HubSpot/BMS updates o Sales conversion & customer retention rate o Community engagement outcomes (e.g., attendance at events, leads generated)

Essential Skills & Attributes o Strong experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally in education, sport, or service sectors o Excellent verbal and written communication skills o High emotional intelligence with a customer-first mindset o Strong organisational and time-management skills o Self-motivated with a proactive, "can-do" attitude o Ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution o Strong presentation and public speaking skills o Team player with collaborative spirit

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 27,000.00-30,000.00 per year
