Business Development Manager

with a proven background in the

Security industry.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients across the manned guarding, CCTV, door supervision, and event security sectors. Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to achieve company growth targets. Manage the full business development process -- including lead generation, client meetings, tenders, proposals, and contract negotiations. Collaborate closely with recruitment and operations teams to ensure effective staffing solutions and service delivery. Prepare and present detailed proposals and quotations tailored to client requirements. Monitor market activity, competitor movements, and industry trends to identify new areas of opportunity. Maintain accurate records of client communications, pipelines, and sales performance using the company's CRM system. Consistently achieve and exceed individual and organisational sales and revenue goals.

Requirements

Proven experience in

business development or client acquisition within the Security industry

(manned guarding, CCTV, events, or facilities management). Strong understanding of industry regulations, client expectations, and operational standards (e.g. SIA compliance). Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Demonstrated success in building client portfolios and managing contracts. Commercially aware, strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and leadership abilities. Self-motivated, highly organised, and capable of working independently as well as within a team environment.
