Business Development Manager



Job Purpose:

To generate sales revenue by proactively selling legal business services to other businesses. This includes identifying and cultivating new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other self-initiated activities.

Key Functions:



Lead Generation:?Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research. Client Engagement:?Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to understand their legal service needs. Sales Presentations:?Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client requirements. Negotiation:?Effectively negotiate terms and close sales agreements to meet or exceed sales targets. Market Analysis:?Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and challenges. Collaboration:?Work closely with legal teams to ensure client needs are met and to develop customized service offerings. Reporting:?Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using Salesforce CRM. Strategy Development:?Contribute to the development of sales strategies and marketing campaigns to drive business growth.

Key Requirements:



Experience:?Proven track record in business development or sales, preferably within the legal, cyber security or professional services sector. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Excellent negotiation and closing skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Proficiency in using CRM software (ideally Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite. Education:?Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Law, or a related field is preferred. Attributes: Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Ability to understand and articulate complex legal services to clients. Resilient and adaptable in a dynamic sales environment. Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
