Business Development Manager with proven track record

to help take us to the next level.

Role Overview



This is a unique opportunity to lead growth and streamline operations in a modern, patient-focused clinic. You will work directly with the CEO and play a vital role in expanding our

self-paying patient base

while improving efficiency and performance across our

marketing and admin teams

.

Key Responsibilities



Business Development



Create and implement strategies to attract

self-pay patients

across all service lines. Identify new business opportunities and referral pathways with

optometrists, GPs, and other private healthcare providers

. Support and monitor digital marketing campaigns and outreach activities. Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and patient data to guide growth.

Operational Management



Oversee day-to-day clinic operations including scheduling, stock control, and service delivery. Ensure a smooth and high-quality

patient journey

from enquiry to treatment and aftercare. Maintain compliance with

CQC standards

and internal protocols. Improve workflow efficiency and optimise use of clinic resources.

Team Leadership



Manage and develop the

admin and marketing staff

, setting goals and measuring performance. Promote a positive, professional, and high-achieving workplace culture. Lead by example, driving accountability and service excellence across teams.

Strategic & Financial Support



Collaborate with the CEO to set targets, track KPIs, and contribute to budgets and forecasts. Provide performance insights and operational data to inform decision-making.

Requirements



Essential:



Proven experience in

business development, marketing and operations management

in healthcare services. Demonstrated success in leading teams and improving business performance. Strong understanding of the

private self-pay healthcare market

. Commercial mindset and ability to work with financial targets, KPIs, and marketing tools.

Desirable:



Experience in ophthalmology and private healthcare. Familiarity with CRM systems, digital marketing platforms, and healthcare compliance frameworks.

Salary:

50,000 - 55,000 per year

Performance Bonus:

7,5000 - 15,000 OTE
