The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and developing strategies to expand Repserve's client presence in the interiors and furniture sector. This role requires a combination of market knowledge, strong client engagement skills, and the ability to translate opportunities into successful partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets within the interiors and furniture industry.
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through networking, market research, and direct outreach.
Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, developers, contractors, and corporate clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with service capabilities and client needs.
Prepare and deliver engaging presentations, proposals, and negotiations to potential clients.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to provide insights for strategic planning.
Support marketing initiatives, including participation in industry events, exhibitions, and client outreach programs.
Maintain accurate records of business development activities, pipeline, and client interactions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in the interiors, furniture, or related design industries.
Strong network within the A&D (Architecture & Design) community is an advantage.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a global team.
Results-oriented, with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel as required.
About Repserve:
At Repserve we lease sales professionals to overseas companies on a shared-time basis, allowing firms to enter new markets or grow in existing ones.
Our Reps have a maximum of 3 complimentary (never competing) clients. They answer all calls and emails at all times but manage their physical client time to suit the time allocation selected by the client.
This role is for an allocation of 100% of your time.
Your day-to-day expenses will be covered (ie petrol, parking, tolls, mobile call charges, etc.) Larger expenses such as international travel, hotels, and large group entertainment should be approved by your client prior to incurring.
Your client will be encouraged to pay a sales commission based on performance. If they choose to do this, the structure of their commission scheme shall be discussed and agreed between you and your client.
