The role:
Acuiti is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a creative, ambitious salesperson with 2-5 years of experience who's ready for a role with responsibility for P&L and to take a central role in develping the sales and product strategy of a fast-growing business.
You'll play a key role in sales and business development working with the managing director to identify and execute opportunities, bring in new clients and work with our existing portfolio of clients.
The role is well suited to a salesperson who excels in customer service, understanding clients' needs and building business opportunities and relationships to help drive their business goals.
At Acuiti our sales approach is collaborative with our customers. We thrive by understanding their needs and requirements and delivering high-quality products and services that meet those needs.
The candidate should have experience selling into financial markets or B2B publishing and be ready to work collaboratively as well as independently to take Acuiti to the next phase of its growth.
What You'll Be Doing:
Working with existing clients to develop products within our scope of business that deliver on their goals and strategies
Identifying and engaging new clients
Working with our management team to develop new products and strategies to enhance growth
Attending global events to stay connected with market developments and meet new and existing clients
Working with the network and content team to ensure excellence in the delivery of products and services to clients
Holding regular meetings with senior executives to gather insights, shape content, and deepen industry understanding
Helping shape our growth as we expand into new asset classes and product areas
Travelling internationally to Acuiti events and external events to represent the Acuiti brand and build connections
What We're Looking For:
A business development manager with a minimum of 2 - 5 years' experience selling into financial markets or B2B publishing
A self-motivated individual that can demonstrate commitment and resilience with a sales strategy that puts the client at the heart of what they do
Comfortable working autonomously and proactively
The ability to understand complex topics and turn that understanding into ideas for collaboration with clients
Willingness to travel internationally for events and client meetings
A collaborative mindset and openness to mentoring and growth
Location:
Our office is located directly next to Blackfriars tube station, a 5 minute walk from Mansion House, and a 10 minute walk from St Pauls, Bank, Cannon Street and Monument stations. We have just about everything you could want on our doorstep - good restaurants, pubs and as many lunch options as you could imagine.
There are multiple gyms within a 5-minute walk from the office, we get various gym branches subsidised with our private healthcare.
