BA Systems is a leading specialist in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-quality balustrade systems for the construction industry. We work closely with main contractors and developers across the UK to deliver safe, stylish, and practical solutions for commercial and residential projects.

The Role:


We are looking for a

Business Development Manager

who is

humble, hungry, and smart

--someone who takes pride in building genuine relationships, is driven to win new business, and can work well with both internal teams and clients.

You'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, nurturing key target accounts, and driving sustainable growth within the main contractor and developer market. The role is hands-on and field-based, requiring regular travel and at least

two days per week on site or meeting clients

.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop and maintain strong relationships with main contractors, developers, and key decision-makers. Identify and qualify new business and project opportunities in line with company growth targets. Generating the required level qualified sales opportunities each week Meeting your weekly activity target, which includes a mixture of face-to-face and telephone-based sales. Researching and identifying additional stakeholders on project opportunities to progress deals in the pipeline. Manage and grow existing client accounts through excellent service and technical understanding. Collaborate with internal design, estimating, and project delivery teams to ensure client needs are identified and met. Attend site visits, client meetings, and industry events to represent BA Systems professionally.

Requirements:



Proven business development or sales experience within the

construction industry

(ideally in facades, balustrades, or related products). Strong network of contacts among main contractors and developers. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a hands-on approach to client engagement. Willingness to travel regularly and spend at least two days per week in the field. Team player with humility, drive, and good judgment.
