The Role:
The Business Development Manager will play a key role in strengthening London Gynaecology's commercial and referral partnerships. Working closely with the Brand and Clinic Managers, they will drive growth initiatives, support long-term relationship building, and assist the Business Development Lead across all areas of business development, including B2B growth and relationship management with insurers, GPs, corporate clients, and other healthcare partners.
This is a hands-on, outward-facing role requiring a motivated, energetic individual who is eager to develop professionally and contribute to the continued expansion of our practice
Key Responsibilities:
Insurance & Corporate Development:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with private medical insurance companies.
Identify commercial opportunities to expand approved provider status or optimise reimbursement pathways.
Lead outreach to corporate organisations to secure health and wellbeing partnerships.
Support creation of corporate packages and new service offerings aligned with business needs.
Business Development Support
Assist in identifying new commercial opportunities and preparing proposals, financial models, and partnership presentations.
Contribute to the implementation of the strategic business plan and support the achievement of business activity targets.
Referral Growth & GP Liaison
Build and maintain excellent relationships with GPs, practice staff, and consultant referrers.
Generate referrals from relevant sources in line with business goals.
Ensure seamless and positive experiences for consultants and referrers interacting with London Gynaecology.
Regularly visit GP practices and relevant referrers to raise awareness of services.
Events & Education
Promote and drive attendance to London Gynaecology's education events for GPs, healthcare professionals, and corporate partners.
Support planning and execution of clinical, educational, and corporate events to increase engagement and strengthen partnerships.
Assist with CPD-related administration and ensure events run smoothly.
Communications & Relationship Management
Act as a proactive point of contact for external stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and a professional experience.
Represent the organisation at conferences, networking events, and industry meetings.
Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, and interactions within CRM systems.
Experience & Qualifications
Essential
Proven experience in business development, healthcare liaison, referral management, or event coordination.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clinical and corporate professionals.
Excellent organisational and project management ability.
Confident presenting to stakeholders and negotiating commercial opportunities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
Ambitious, energetic, and commercially driven.
Desirable
Experience in private healthcare or hospital settings.
Understanding of private medical insurance, corporate wellbeing, or healthcare partnerships.
Knowledge of gynaecology, women's health, or broader clinical services (not essential).
Familiarity with CPD accreditation processes or clinical education event formats.
