Business Development Manager



Salary: 40-50k



Work Times: 9:00am - 5:30pm



Office: Full time in office The Role:



- Promoting the company to new customers to deliver and maintain business growth.

- Attract and retain new customers for domestic deliveries, domestic wholesale sales and export sales.

- Understanding your customers' needs through market research and relationship building.

- Be first point of contact for all your customers with the ability to support the sales team where necessary.

- Customer networking to identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships.

- Have a proven record of demonstrating initiative, delivering results and working independently.

Duties and Responsibilities:



Identifying and qualifying prospective customers by obtaining accurate due diligence documentation, conducting internal due diligence and conducting in-depth research and pro-active networking.

Provide an explanation of our sales process, obtain details of subsequent quotes and information on enquiries to customers in a timely fashion.

Enhancing up-to-date knowledge on new products, procedures, services and tools by attending departmental and training meetings.

Consistently providing information via email and entries onto the calendar so that all deliveries are planned and coordinated with the warehouse.

Always maintaining professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity and tact to portray the company in a positive manner.

Continuously updating all customer/suppliers on New and Existing Company product lines, modifications, changes and enhancements.

Scheduling appointments and meeting existing customers to identify and qualify potential prospects and present current product offers.

Ensure the effective planning of deliveries either via truck, lorry, sea freight or air freight by liaising with logistics and the warehouse

Ensure the transport and logistics information is given to the customer and necessary department with pricing information for services offered, reasonable time frames and payment procedures- this includes date coding, labelling, packaging and container loading arrangements - internal and external organisation of these services.

Ensure that the internal transport and logistics teams are given customer information within a reasonable time frame for them to arrange and execute effectively the customer orders.

When possible provide professional demonstrations or presentations of Company products and services while onsite or through visiting customer externally.

Liaising between the Company and the customers for up-to-date pricing, service and latest product release launches.

Updating and maintaining customer accounts records, including contact names and numbers for future sales, as well as ensuring customer due diligence is up to date and accurate.

Aggressively following up on business opportunities via networking during trade shows.

Activity reporting requirements: You should complete sales activity report each week and deliver it to management via email on Friday.

Education:

Bachelor's (preferred)
Experience:

FMCG and/or Export : 3 years (preferred) SALES: 5 years (preferred) FMCG: 3 years (preferred)
Language:

Arabic, Hebrew and/or Mandarin (preferred)

United Kingdom (required)
Work Location: In person
