About the Role



This is a pivotal

full-time, hybrid sales role

for a highly motivated Business Development Manager with a passion for temporary healthcare recruitment. You will be at the heart of their sales operations, responsible for

winning new business, cultivating robust client relationships, and driving significant revenue growth

across the temporary healthcare market. This position demands a strategic and proactive individual who is driven to expand market share through relentless new business development and exceptional client retention.

Key Responsibilities



New Business Acquisition:

Proactively identify, target, and secure new client accounts within the temporary healthcare sector through strategic outreach, networking, and compelling proposals.

Client Relationship Management:

Develop and nurture strong, enduring relationships with both new and existing clients, ensuring their temporary staffing needs are consistently met and expectations are exceeded.

Sales Strategy Development & Execution:

Formulate and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the temporary healthcare market, including market mapping, competitor analysis, and pipeline management to achieve ambitious sales targets.

Contract Negotiation & Conversion:

Lead negotiations for new contracts and agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and successful conversion of leads into active client accounts.

Market Insight & Innovation:

Stay abreast of industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities within temporary healthcare recruitment, leveraging this knowledge to identify new opportunities and refine sales approaches.

Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with recruitment delivery teams to ensure a seamless client experience, effectively communicating client requirements and feedback.

Revenue Generation:

Consistently meet and exceed individual and team revenue targets by effectively managing the sales cycle from lead generation to placement and retention.

Brand Advocacy:

Professionally represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings, enhancing market visibility and reputation.
Requirements:

Temporary Healthcare Recruitment Experience:

Demonstrable experience within the temporary healthcare recruitment market, with a proven track record in a sales or business development capacity.

New Business Development Acumen:

A strong, quantifiable history of successfully winning and onboarding new client accounts.

Sales-Driven Mindset:

A highly motivated individual with a relentless drive to achieve targets and thrive in a competitive sales environment.

Strategic & Commercial Awareness:

Ability to identify opportunities, understand client needs, and position solutions effectively.

Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.

Resilience & Proactiveness:

A self-starter who is adaptable, resilient, and proactive in pursuing new opportunities.

Collaboration:

Proven ability to work effectively with internal recruitment teams to deliver client solutions.

Desirable Skills & Experience



Experience with recruitment CRM systems and sales analytics tools. A pre-existing network of contacts within the healthcare sector. Familiarity with hybrid working models and effective remote collaboration.
