Duties
Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's customer base and market presence.
Identify potential clients and generate leads through research, networking, and industry events.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs to provide tailored solutions.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations.
Manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce and CRM software, ensuring accurate tracking of activities and progress.
Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively, ensuring mutual benefit for both the company and clients.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform strategic decision-making.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights for senior management.
Requirements
Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within a related industry.
Strong proficiency in Salesforce and CRM software for managing client relationships and sales activities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively under tight deadlines.
Organised with strong analytical skills to interpret market data and identify opportunities.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to building networks and securing new business.
