We're looking for an experienced mobile focused, but UC capable BDM ideally with strong network experience working within a reseller, to join our team in the East Midlands. You'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities while managing and growing relationships with existing customers. With a strong background in the telecommunications industry, you'll use your expertise to deliver tailored solutions that help businesses stay better connected.

About the Role



Reporting to the Sales Director, the BDM will play a key role in driving Yappl's growth across our portfolio, mobile and telephony. This is predominantly a field-based role covering Oxford and above, where you'll spend time meeting new prospects, managing a portfolio of existing accounts, and ensuring that all customers receive excellent service.



1.0 Purpose

Develop opportunities to

close

new business customers for Yappl to generate profitable growth.

Yappl's lead generation team will book meetings for you to attend as our sales representative with a view to converting them into a new customer along with any self generated opportunities you have/create.

You will sell across the Yappl Business Mobile Portfolio depending on the customers' requirements.

2.0 Dimensions



Key responsibilities will include:

Proactively developing client relationships from meetings, you attend Identifying opportunities, creating new sales leads, and meeting revenue targets (GP being the key KPI) Using appropriate marketing tools & strategies to assist in the achievement of targets Ensure delivery against individual performance. Achieve passes in all role specific tests/assessments undertaken. Maintain and update the pipeline to supply weekly forecasts.
2.1 Processes, procedures, risk, and compliance

Ensure all procedures, rules and regulatory compliance standards are consistently achieved. Follow agreed processes in place to make sure all business customers are treated consistently and fairly and to ensure operational losses are minimised. Be vigilant against fraud and risk.
2.2 Quality

Ensure you are up to date with developments and verbal/written communications issued by Line Management Convey sometimes complex information in a clear, concise way. Create outstanding B2B customer confidence in the service offered by ensuring a professional performance and exceptional commitment to customer care. Adopt the quality standards within the 'Behaviours and Skills' observation framework to develop and maintain individual competence and performance. Review 'Development Agreements' and take action as required. Prepare for and participate in coaching sessions with Line Manager as required.

5.0 Qualifications and Competencies



Previous B2B Telecoms Field Sales experience - Minimum 5 years (ideally EE and O2). Enthusiastic team player with a drive to succeed. Proven hunter that is seen by their customers as a trusted partner Target driven and able to motivate other team members. Strong partnership and relationship building style with clients. Self-motivated, with the ability to work proactively on own initiative as well as within a close-knit team. Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal Strong relationship and network building skills Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Highly organised with a keen eye for detail Prior experience within a telecoms business development role or B2B in general. Professional at all times Computer literacy Full, clean driving licence Ability to work under pressure.
