The Opportunity



We're hiring a permanent Business Development Manager to build, deepen, and convert relationships with solicitors and law firms nationally - from high-street PI practices to Top-100 firms - creating a repeatable pipeline of instructions for our MedCo, HDR and MOD departments.

Duties



Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, research, and outreach. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our Solicitor base. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Own the full BD funnel: outreach ? meetings ? pilots ? signed terms ? onboarding ? monthly instructions. Prospect, book and run meetings, present TLB Medicals' proposition, and negotiate compliant introducer/referral terms Map and prioritise national target firms and decision makers (partners, BD leads, operations managers)

Experience & Skills



3-8 years in Business Development / Client Development within a law firm or selling to law firms (PI, HDR, military injury - advantageous). Demonstrable UK-wide network of solicitors/BD leaders and a track record turning relationships into signed introducer terms and monthly instructions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences. Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision making. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt strategies based on changing market conditions.
