We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving the growth of our organisation. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in business development.

Proven track record in sales, account management, or business development, ideally within the food/catering sector (other sectors considered)
Solid understanding of the catering/food service market or willingness to learn
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and profitability.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while seeking to expand the client base.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential areas for expansion.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, showcasing our products and services.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.
Utilise CRM software, particularly Salesforce, to manage client interactions and track sales progress.
Prepare regular reports on business development activities and outcomes for senior management.
Skills
Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in a related industry.
Strong understanding of CRM software, specifically Salesforce, for managing client relationships effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Highly organised with exceptional time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong focus on achieving results.
