Job Description

Workwear Uniform Group Ltd (WWUGL) is a leader in the sourcing, design, manufacture and distribution of technical workwear, PPE and bespoke corporate uniforms.

Boasting 100m annual turnover and an international reach, the Group comprises multiple brands who each excel in a distinct part of the workwear lifecycle. This enables us to offer cradle-to-grave solutions to household brands spanning construction, healthcare, rail, logistics, banking, retail, tourism and more.

You'll play a central role in driving the growth of two of the Group's key brands: Direct Corporate Clothing (off-the-shelf PPE and workwear contract specialists) and Incorporatewear (bespoke corporate uniform specialists).

You'll also help establish WWUGL as a renowned brand in and of itself.

Job Purpose



Responsible for the growth of Direct Corporate Clothing's Brand's market position and to achieve sustainable financial growth. To define long term strategic sales and marketing goals, build key relationships with potential clients and identify new business opportunities. Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions and competitor activity. Develop strategy for targeting conquest accounts and identify new industry sectors.

Duties & Responsibilities:



Achieving agreed new business sales targets and gross margin % as defined in the company sales strategy. Prospect for potential new clients through building and maintaining a sales pipeline, tendering and pre-qualifying opportunities. Devise and implement marketing strategy. Work with Head of Marketing to contribute to social media content creation and ensuring that the Group and brand web page is regularly reviewed and updated where necessary. Identify potential clients and the key decision makers within the targeted organizations. Research and build new relationships with potential new clients directly and using marketing and PR. Develop Unique Selling Points by maintaining a thorough knowledge of the market, services and solutions that the company can provide. Maintain a thorough knowledge of competitor activity. Increase awareness of ICW service offering through attending or organising conferences, trade events and association events. Maintain knowledge on market trends with a view to developing new services and products for both existing and potential clients. Submit monthly sales activity reports. Communicate and meet regularly with all key business stakeholders including "go / no go" departmental meetings for potential new business. Preparation of Prequalifying documents, RFI's and full tender responses. Preparation of tailored presentations for potential clients. Setting and maintenance of up-to-date tender library including accurate version control of all key company documents and policies. Ensure that any potential new client meets the agreed commercial targets. Awareness of company's ISO 19001, 14001 and 45001 accreditations, objectives, and requirements. Attend annual company training and refresher courses. Any additional task or duties requested by management.

Qualifications



Formal Education:

Higher Education Qualification in Business, Marketing, Digital Marketing or sales is preferable. However, we are willing to also consider candidates that demonstrate necessary skills and experience as well. A-Level / BTEC / Foundation Qualification in Design / Business or Sales is preferable. UK Full Driving Licence (essential)

Experience Required:

High level of interpersonal skills. Proven sales track record. Strong sales negotiator. Good level of project management skills. High level of written and verbal communication skills. High level of organisational and time management skills. High degree of working flexibility Ability to work under pressure and achieve tight deadlines. Good knowledge of the textile or garment industry Good IT appreciation and practical ability. Previous experience within the corporate clothing sector is useful but not essential. Good commercial awareness
Minimum Education Requirements:

GCSE Maths and English at Grade C Good level of spoken and written English Knowledge and command of European languages is beneficial.
