As part of our continued expansion, we're now looking for an

Operations-Based Business Development Manager

to join our Bristol office.

The Role

This is a hands-on, hybrid role combining

business development

with

operational coordination

.
You'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing your own client portfolio, and ensuring smooth execution of shipments with support from our experienced operations team.

You'll have the flexibility to

bring your own customers and suppliers

if you wish -- and will be rewarded with

one of the highest commission structures in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage new and existing client relationships Identify sales opportunities within UK and EU transport markets Handle day-to-day operational coordination for your clients' shipments Negotiate rates and manage relationships with carriers/suppliers Collaborate with our operations and customs teams to ensure service excellence Prepare quotes, manage bookings, and track shipments

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in freight forwarding or transport sales Strong understanding of European road transport and express logistics Existing client/supplier base (advantageous but not essential) Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
