The Role

We are looking for a motivated and adaptable Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This is a dual-role position that combines business development with administrative support, ideal for someone who thrives in a varied, hands-on environment. You'll play a key role in driving business growth while supporting day to day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities within the transport, logistics, and compliance sectors.

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Provide administrative support across business development and operational functions.

Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and documentation for client engagement.

Respond to inbound enquiries with professionalism and a customer-first approach.

Assist with logistics and compliance-related tasks as needed.

Work independently and use initiative to make informed decisions that support business objectives.

Contribute to sales growth with a proactive and enthusiastic mindset.

Skills & Experience Required

Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).

Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management.

Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional phone manner.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Resilient, proactive, and results driven.

Experience in the logistics or compliance sector is desirable but not essential.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
