Reporting to Fidelis' Director and working closely with the Group Commercial Director, the role of the Commercial BDM is to secure new viable contracted business, by actively taking our proposition to new customers, markets, relationships and networks.
The BDM role will drive and secure growth, increase sales revenues and brand awareness, whilst developing and managing key client prospects and new relationships.
Role is fully remote with occasional travel to our Head Office near Birmingham.
Role responsibilities include:
Working closely with the Director of Fidelis, Group Commercial Director, Business Operations Manager and our marketing team to actively develop and promote the business.
Building strategies for targeting specific markets, organisations, networks and people
Creating and maintaining a sales pipeline using HubSpot - securing new accounts and long-term contracts
Identifying and building relationships and networks that result in sales
Prospecting for new clients by networking, cold calling and working with team members and external partners to convert opportunities into new business
Planning approaches, presentations and pitches that are tailored to client needs
Managing and growing existing customer relationships
About you
We're looking for a motivated commercial BDM with a proven track record in securing contract cleaning or FM opportunities. You'll be:
Commercially astute with a
background in the FM and/or cleaning sector
Experienced - with strong evidence of success in sales and operational delivery
Capable of recognising and understanding the big picture for both parties
Adept at applying your skills to new situations and making effective commercial judgements
Articulate, with strong communication and IT skills
Strong with the details, be a completer-finisher and able to manage a network of relationships, projects, tenders and budgets.
Positive, willing to learn & grow and support your team mates.
