As we expand across the UK, we're looking for a passionate and driven Business Development Manager to lead our growth in Scotland.

Job Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, housing associations, architects, developers and local authorities and driving growth within the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sales strategies and have experience with CRM systems to effectively manage leads and client interactions.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve organisational goals. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with overall company objectives. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, showcasing our products and services. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM system. Provide regular reports on business development progress to senior management.

Requirements



Proven experience in a business development or sales role, within structural systems or building materials Strong knowledge of the Scottish construction market Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess market trends and make data-driven decisions. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt strategies based on changing circumstances. A passion for sustainable building solutions and modern construction methods
