Business Development Manager-

South

to join our Urology & ENT team. With a direct reporting line to the Sales Director - Urology & ENT, UK&I, you will own and drive a broad range of responsibilities, with full market ownership in this Southern UK, field-based role.



The purpose of this role is to nurture existing customer relationships while improving and growing Ambu's UK business. You will foster and develop relationships with community diagnostic centres, outpatient clinics, primary care centres, and other partners, whilst strengthening Ambu's position at ICS/ICB level with key stakeholders in patient pathways and endoscopic diagnostic policy. Additionally, you will enhance profitability through strategic planning and positioning within the single-use markets and contribute to the growth of the UK business.


Key Responsibilities:




Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to increase the adoption of Ambu's Urology and ENT solutions in primary care, community diagnostic centres and areas that take on additional diagnostic capacity. Work closely with our wider Marketing, HEMA and Commercial teams as well Regional Sales Managers and their sales teams to drive growth in Ambu's URO/ENT portfolio and associated digital ecosystem across target accounts, through the execution of national strategy and engagement of clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, in target ICB's/ICS's/HIN's and other NHS bodies. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, driving market access initiatives and sales growth in non-traditional settings. Provide insights and feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and potential product development opportunities.

Suggested Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a sales or business development professional with a strong track record of collaborating with the NHS and commercial parties. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in engaging with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) & Systems (ICS's), developing patient pathways to support the adoption of innovative medical technologies. Experience in conveying health economic, financial, and clinical benefits to a broad spectrum of senior personnel while demonstrating commercial credibility is highly desirable.




Qualifications and Experience:




Minimum 5 years experience in a business development or sales role within the MedTech sector preferably endoscopy/endourology. Strong knowledge of the UK healthcare system, including demonstrable experience working with hospitals, ICBs, commissioners, and other senior/C-Suite stakeholders. Demonstrable success in introducing products into primary care centres, community diagnostic centres, or other diagnostic environments. Experience in pathway development and navigating NHS frameworks to enable the uptake of new technologies. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
