Due to expansion we are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our business by expanding on our existing client base whilst securing new contracts with new partners, building strong relationships with clients, and developing long term strategic partnerships. The successful candidate should expect to earn between 80k-110k in year 1 with a generous commission & bonus scheme available.
Responsibilities
Managing existing relationships and accounts effectively
Upselling & cross selling products where applicable
To maintain and grow existing business accounts
Responsible for all incoming leads into the business
Drive new business for the company
No cold calling required, with 40+ enquiries generated on a monthly basis
Skills
Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within a relevant industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A proactive mindset with a passion for driving results and achieving targets.
Have a proven track record of achieving sales and margin targets with the Voltage Optimisation (or similar) sector
Demonstrate and provide evidence of selling skills to grow existing business
Able to sell and negotiate at all levels within an organisation
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Attend site meetings where required
Knowledge of the energy/renewables industry is preferred but not essential

Pay: 25,000.00-28,000.00 per year
