Summary
We are looking for a Business Development & Marketing Manager to join our team at Emporia Tile Centre. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving business growth and expanding our market presence. Your contributions will be vital in shaping our future success.
Responsibilities
Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand market reach.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs.
Collaborate with the sales team to align business development efforts with sales goals.
Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients and partners.
Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
Provide regular reports on business development activities and outcomes.
Core Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales
Identify leads, pitch B2B/B2C clients (contractors, interior designers, developers)
Close deals to meet revenue targets
Maintain CRM records and report pipeline metrics
Organic Marketing
Lead social media strategy (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) to elevate brand presence
Manage website content and SEO backlinks to improve rankings
Produce content (blogs, newsletters) showcasing product quality and design
Paid Marketing
Plan and manage ad campaigns to generate qualified leads
Monitor metrics (CPC, CPL, ROAS) and optimize budget allocation
Collaboration & Strategy
Coordinate with showroom staff, logistics, and customer support
Develop and execute monthly marketing-sales plans, events, promotions
Expanded Roles:
Marketing & Advertising Lead: Design campaigns for new product ranges and seasonal offers
Sales Administrator: Assist with quotes, inventory, order processing
Social Media Specialist: Create visual content, manage channel engagement
PPC Specialist: Focus on paid search and display campaigns
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (in Business, Marketing, or similar preferable).
5-8+ years' experience in sales, business development, or marketing roles.
Strong background in B2B/B2C sales (ideally in interiors or home improvement preferable)
Strong understanding of software tools, including Salesforce, for managing customer relationships.
Proficient in digital marketing: SEO, social media, PPC
Excellent communication skills, multilingual abd multicultural background
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on results-driven strategies.
