Business Development and Marketing Manager

The Role

As our

Business Development and Marketing Manager

, your primary responsibility will be to lead strategic initiatives that increase and sustain occupancy across our care homes. You will work closely with Home Managers, the Senior Leadership Team, and external stakeholders to ensure that each service is proactively marketed and commercially supported.

You will be measured on the number and quality of enquiries generated, the pace and professionalism of the enquiry process, and the

conversion rate from enquiry to admission

. This is a key commercial role that requires confidence, strategic awareness, and creativity in equal measure.

Your remit will include:

Business Development & Stakeholder Engagement

Build and sustain strategic relationships with local authorities, NHS teams, referrers, and commissioning bodies to ensure consistent and high-quality referral pipelines. Identify and act on opportunities created by local market changes, including competitor instability, service closures or reduced capacity. Represent Constantia Healthcare Group at key sector events, local forums, and community initiatives, building visibility and influence.

Marketing, Brand & Campaign Management

Lead and implement fresh, creative marketing campaigns across print and digital platforms to position Constantia as the provider of choice in each local authority footprint. Oversee the end-to-end production of marketing materials, from concept to delivery - including brochures, banners, leaflets, and event collateral. Develop and deliver an engaging content strategy, ensuring the brand voice is consistent, values-led, and tailored to our audiences. Capture high-quality photography and videography to be used across campaigns, social media, and internal communications.

Digital Marketing & Communications

Manage the organisation's website and social media channels, keeping content current, engaging and aligned with our brand values. Drive digital engagement and increase reach across key platforms (including Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube), analysing performance and adapting strategies where needed. Write clear, compelling content for newsletters, blogs, press releases, and stakeholder updates.

Lead Generation, CRM & Performance Reporting

Use CRM systems to manage enquiries, track leads, measure conversion and report on performance. Work closely with Home Managers to support them in responding to enquiries with pace, professionalism, and accuracy. Monitor and report on key metrics including referral sources, campaign performance, conversion rates, and overall impact on occupancy levels.

What We're Looking For

? Proven experience in business development, marketing, or stakeholder engagement, ideally within health or social care
? Strong relationship-building and influencing skills across a wide range of stakeholders
? A creative and strategic mindset, with the ability to lead campaigns from idea through to execution
? Hands-on experience with CRMs, content creation, social media management, and digital marketing tools
? Competency in photography and videography, with an eye for brand presentation and storytelling
? Commercial awareness and confidence interpreting occupancy and market data
? A collaborative, proactive, and outcomes-driven approach
? Must be based within a commutable distance of Birstall, West Yorkshire - this is an on-site role
