Job Summary


We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive growth through our partner ecosystem. In this role, you will work closely with Custodia's Sales team, playing a pivotal part in identifying, qualifying, and nurturing partner-generated opportunities. Your primary responsibility will be to generate high-quality leads and pass them to Partner Account Managers (PAMs) for further development and closure. This is a high-impact position at the intersection of direct and indirect sales and requires strong collaboration, excellent communication, and coordination with both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). 3-5 years of experience in a sales or partner-facing role, with SaaS experience highly desirable. Strong understanding of indirect sales models and partner ecosystems (e.g., distributors, resellers, technology partners). Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and sales enablement platforms. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities



Partner-Focused Lead Generation

Identify high-potential opportunities within the partner ecosystem, leveraging partner networks and insights. Collaborate with partners to explore leads within their client base and market segments, focusing on both short- and long-term growth.

Collaboration with Marketing and Product Teams

Partner with internal marketing teams to create targeted campaigns and co-branded content aimed at partner outreach. Provide valuable feedback to product teams based on partner and prospect insights to ensure product offerings align with market needs.

Direct Outbound Outreach and Qualification

Engage prospects through calls, emails, and social media, effectively communicating joint value propositions. Qualify leads based on fit, interest, and potential, and align them with the most relevant partner for follow-up and deal closure.

Coordination with Partner Account Managers (PAMs)

Collaborate with PAMs on target accounts, partner outreach strategies, and key initiatives. Seamlessly pass qualified opportunities to PAMs, ensuring detailed context and relevant information for follow-up.

CRM Management and Reporting

Document all interactions, activities, and opportunities in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot) to ensure accurate records and pipeline visibility. Track performance against KPIs, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)



Activity:

Number of leads generated and outreach activities completed.

Pipeline:

Number of qualified leads passed to PAMs and associated conversion rates.

Collaboration:

Success of joint campaigns and feedback loops with marketing/product teams.

Revenue Contribution:

Partner-influenced pipeline and closed revenue.
