About Us:

We are a domiciliary care franchise dedicated to providing high-quality home

care services. We are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to

help grow our client base, build relationships with local referral sources, and

enhance our community profile.

Role Purpose:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the growth

of the business by securing new care packages, developing referral partner

relationships, organising and attending community events (and creating our

own), and raising the company's profile locally. You will deliver on defined

growth targets and help the owner focus more on operations by taking on the

sales and partner development responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

? Identify, create, and convert new care packages and achieve agreed

targets.

? Build and maintain strong relationships with local referral sources: GPs,

hospitals, discharge teams, social workers, community organisations,

councils, charities, social prescribers etc.

? Initiate and attend at least 20 referral/contact meetings per week,

face-to-face wherever possible.

? Plan, organise, and run our Walfinch "Thrive Clubs" (such as community

seated exercise classes) - hosting events, inviting local residents, key

sector contacts, etc.

? Represent the company at external community / networking events

(health fairs, charity events, local authority meetings, etc.).

? Maintain a pipeline of potential referrals / leads; keep CRM up to date

with meetings, follow-ups, stages of engagement.

? Monitor, analyse, and report on KPI metrics (new packages, hours,

referral sources, conversion ratios, event ROI etc.).

? Contribute ideas for marketing & outreach: local partnerships, PR, social

media tied to community engagement.

? Ensure brand / care standards are maintained in all contacts and events;

act as the public face of the company locally.

Person Specification:

Essential:

? Proven experience in business development, preferably in domiciliary

care, social care, healthcare, or related service sector.

? Strong networking, interpersonal, communication and presentation

skills.

? Comfortable with sales/outreach; tenacious and resilient.

? Good organisational skills; able to juggle many contacts/leads and follow

ups.

? Self-starter, able to work with some autonomy, setting priorities.

? Local knowledge/understanding of Edinburgh area and the health &

social care landscape desirable.

? Valid driving licence and use of a vehicle.

Desirable:

? Experience organising community events or outreach programmes.

? Experience working with local authorities, NHS, social prescribers or

equivalent.

? Good digital skills (CRM, MS Office, possibly simple marketing/social media

.



Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Edinburgh EH2 2ER
