As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a key role in the future development of Adult Social Care data intelligence and reporting, helping to develop and drive performance management across the service.

The Role

We are looking for someone with attention to detail to provide support within the Performance Data Team that handles data for Adult Social Care.

You will be responsible for the analysis, collation, and distribution of reporting as directed by the Service Manager and the Performance and Data Manager. You will be expected to analyse performance information and provide narrative to support data and to support operational Heads of Service to manage their locality performance.

In addition, you will contribute to the development and design in social care data sets, dashboards and information as appropriate to reflect the information needs of the organisation which will underpin decision making and service shaping.

Key Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 To deliver reporting and analysis to agreed requirements and timescales

\xc2\xb7 To assist with the implementation of Power BI dashboards for the directorate

\xc2\xb7 Assist with data collation and manipulation to meet the Councils statutory reporting requirements, assisting other team members with completion of their objectives

\xc2\xb7 Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis in response to freedom of information and general data requests

\xc2\xb7 To provide data and analysis support to internal and external colleagues

\xc2\xb7 Identify issues with data integrity and reports, where possible making recommendations for resolution

\xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with all Council and legal policies pertinent to the role.

This position will be subject to a basic/standard/enhanced criminal record disclosure check.

Whilst the location/work-base for this role may have been specified our evolving ways of working means that the role may require you to also work remotely (e.g., from home/other locations). We will discuss this with you during the recruitment process.

About You

\xc2\xb7 Educated to degree or higher diploma level in a relevant discipline or demonstrable knowledge and experience in performance management and analysis

\xc2\xb7 You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise and present to a variety of audiences.

\xc2\xb7 You work well with colleagues and partners and acknowledge the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds of others

\xc2\xb7 Proven skills to analyse, interpret, forecast and present performance information and data.

\xc2\xb7 Proficient with MS Office, with advanced knowledge of MS Excel.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task.

\xc2\xb7 An ability to work to statutory deadlines.

\xc2\xb7 An experience of using performance tools, SQL and working within Adult Social Care would be advantageous.
